For the 8th year running The Dirt Wars Series is back bigger and better than ever, We are also a FMB National Series for the 3rd year running.
The Series was started in 2010 to bring new riders into the comp scene and give them a chance to shine.
For 2017 we are going back to our roots and will now be holding 3 Classes instead of the usual 2 (Open and Pro), We will be adding an AM class to our series for all riders who have been competing for a few years with big trick bags but NO SPONSORS.
The Open class will now be for riders who only have single tricks dialed (eg flips, 360s, barspins etc not flipwhips, trucks etc) but still have NO SPONSORS. This class is aimed at new comers to the comp scene to encourage riders who want to compete but dont want to ride against some of the best AM riders in the UK.
The Open class will only have 4 rounds this year as we can not hold an Open Class at NASS or The Cycle Show.
Pro Class Speaks for itself. This class is for Sponsored and Supported Riders.
We will be kicking off this years series at the Legendary Chicksands Bike Park in Bedfordshire on the 14th of May 2017.
Ali Dunn (Chicksands local) has been busy on the jumps and they are looking amazing ready for round 1.
Round 2 will be held on the Slopestyle course at our favorite trail spot Holdshott in Hampshire.
The course was used for 2 rounds last year and the riders had a proper ball shredding the dirt and wooden trails.
(For open riders the comp will be held on the Dirt Comp line and not the Slope course)
Round 3 we will be hitting up on of the best festivals in europe. NASS in Shepton Mallett.
The Nass festival has been one of our stops for the last 4 years and holds the biggest prize fund of the series for the Pro riders.
The 6th to the 9th of July will see us hit the dirt in the daytime then the riders get to party to the likes of Method Man and Redman, Pendulum, Kano, Wiley, Giggs and Sigma in the night time. The festival will be full of extreme sports and crazy happenings.
There will be no Open Round at NASS

Round 4 will see a return to P.O.R.C (Penshurst Off Road Club) in the Kent countryside.
Both AM and Pro will be held on the Big line at Porc for 2017 with the Open Class being held on the middle line.
Round 5 is a TBC Venue but will be held on the 10th of September. More on this shortly.
This round will be the Open Final.
Round 6 The Final will return to The Cycle Show at the NEC in Birmingham. More details on this soon
