DMR Dirt Wars FMB Bronze NASS

The Dmr Dirt Wars FMB Bronze Series held Round 3 of the 2015 series this past weekend at The National Adventure Sports Show (NASS) at Shepton Mallet in England.

Quallys were held  on the Saturday afternoon but the guys were not able to unleash their trick bags to the full extent due to the massive head winds and the fact the course had been made from concrete so the riders were very weary about taking a tumble down the solid landings. Despite the conditions the riders did what they could and put on an awesome show for the crowd.  They were all pre warned that the weather was looking worst for the Sunday Finals so the qually results may be used for Podiums.

As the Open Class riders took to the course for practice then their quallys Ben Nolan Took a nasty tumble taking the skin off his elbow but that didn’t stop the likes of Cam Crozier pulling flips on the first and huge 360 tailwhips on the last. Harry Campbell was also making the most of the course pulling no footers to no footed cans. The Open Class did a real good job of stepping up to the mark and pulling what they could in the horrible weather conditions so well done lads.

The Pro Riders were up next and Saracens Matt Jones was first to drop in on the practice session just having a smooth run through with some styled out whips, That soon changed as the rest of the riders hit the course and prepared for the quallys. As the riders started their first run’s you could see that a few of them were not comfortable with the course and were struggling to get the line perfected. Matt Scott came out swinging with his huge flips and tucks over the first jump whilst Freddy Pullman was in podium mode pulling a tailwhip up the step up which was real compact and not right for whips at all. Matt Jones replied to Freddy’s whip with a super smooth flip up the step up then Daryl Brown topped them both by Trucking up it. With the quallys out the way the guys got ready and went out to party to the likes of Rebel Sound, Wilkinson and loads of other top music talent.
Finals Day.
