Ok so the dates are in and we are all ready for the 2024 DMR Dirt Wars Dirt Jump Series.
We are going to start the series off at SandBay Trails in Weston Super Mare, Somerset on the 14th of April for a bit of a Jump Jam to get the riders back in the swing of things ready for the start of the comp series in May. It's just going to be a small event with best trick, High jump, best whip and rider of the day awards.
We will then be going on to ChickSands Bike Park in Bedfordshire for Round 1 of the series on the 12th of May.
We love using Chicksands for round 1 as its the perfect venue to get back in to the comp flow.
We will then be heading to Gloucester for Round 2 of the series on the 26th May at Shredhill Bike Park at the Dirt Wars Compound.
We will be using pretty big jumps as we have built a line down the side of the Whale Tail. This will be a perfect round to get you ready for the jumps at Round 3.
Round 3 the series will be heading down to Cornwall on the 23rd of June to the awesome Oldhill Bike Park. The course was built in 2023 by Jasper Flashman and co and proved to be an awesome venue for a round of the series so we are going back.
Round 4 of the series will be back at Shredhill Bike Park The Dirt Wars Compound on the 21st July for another round although this time we will be using part of the slope course that then runs into the new dirt jump line. We will not be using the whaleTail.
Round 5 will be at the Mighty Malverns Classic MTB Festival on the 22nd to 25th of August. Its the Party of the year and everyones going so make sure your there. Get on over to their website for ticket information.
We do have a back up venue should we have to abort one due to British weather. Please be aware if it is bad weather there is nothing we can do to avoid postponements or cancelations. We do try not to do this but sometimes its out of our hands.
To enter any round of the series (Excluding the Malverns) you just have to be 10 years + and of a sound dirt jumping capability. Arrive at the venue and sign in.
The Malverns Classic event is invite only. To qualify for an invite you have to ride at least 2 of the 2024 series previous rounds.
Entry to Rounds 1 to 4 is £40 per round.
A Full Face Helmet is fully recommended to all riders (Piss Pot is not really advised) and Knee Pads are essential for all riders. Please make sure your bike is in full mechanical order with bar end caps in place.
