Round 6 Chicksands Bike Park The Final 2022 video Edit, Photo's and Results

So the final of the 2022 series went off at Chicksands Bike Park on the 25th of September and the riders sent the series out in style.

 

The 2022 series has been awesome due to the fact we have had amazing weather for all the rounds (OK the Malverns Classic was a bit touch and go at one point) and have welcomed a new group of riders to the Open/AM Class at an Open/AM Level (AM has got crazy in previous years with unsponsered riders riding in AM when they were easily of a Pro/Elite standard which put off the proper AM level riders) and its been a blast..

 

Sunday the 25th of September saw the Final of the series at Chicksands Bike Park in Bedfordshire and as in the previous 5 rounds the riders were chomping at the bit to get on course and start putting their runs together ready for their final runs later that day.

 

As always both AM and Pro Riders had 3 runs of Seeding to get their positions for the final.

The Open/AM riders have progressed so much through out the series this year with massive improvement from Charlie Hart, Jowan Whitehouse, George Keen, Lucas Rose and Harrie Scholten to name a few

 

So with the Open/AM Riders taking their 3 final runs of the season the scores for Open/AM Round 6 were as follows

So after Blasting out all 5 rounds to date with a three 1st place and two 2nd place results it was time to see if Jake Atkinson could hold the other riders off and make it four 1st places out of six rounds. Jordan Clark, Zac Rainbow, Cam Crozier, Charlie Bowman and Fin Davies to name a few were all out to put that spanner in the works and hold Jake off.
