With the British weather being so unpredictable at this time of year Chicksands Bike Park in Shefford Bedfordshire was the only choice for round one of the seventh series of the DMR Dirt Wars UK Dirt Jump Series. Chicksands is well known for its all year round riding as its set on a small incline in the middle of a sand based forest. Even if its chucking it down with rain the trails still hold up and run really well.

Dirt Wars UK took over the Dirt Jump section of the bike park on the 15th of May and here’s what went down.

Round 1 of this years seris will go off at Chicksands Bike Park in Bedford. 

The Park has had a total revamp on the jumps ready for Round 1 and they look amazing. Ali Dunn and the Chicksands Crew have been working hard over the winter to make the jumps ready for comp season.

Started out in 2010 Dirt wars UK has gone from strength to strength to become the UK’s leading Dirt Jump Series.

Every year we have managed to better the last year even with the British weather against us! In 2015 we topped everything we had done before by hosting a round not only at NASS (The National Adventure Sports Show) but also our series final at The Cycle Show at the NEC alongside the Monster Energy Sam Pilgrim Big Air Invitational.
